MaKami College is a provincially credited private college in Alberta that trains students to become licensed massage therapists. It was established in Edmonton, Alberta in 2001 by the Pavkovic family.

History
MaKami College started as a small vocational college and has since grown to an enrollment of over 1,200 students per year. A second campus was opened in Calgary in 2013. In 2014 MaKami College was listed on Profit Guide's Profit 500 - Canada's Fastest Growing Companies list.

MaKami College is a member in good standing with NHP Canada, CRMTA, Canadian Sports Massage Therapists Association and the Better Business Bureau.
Edmonton Campus
The Edmonton Campus and Head Office of MaKami College is located on the second floor of Capilano Mall, across from the Edmonton Public Library. With the announced demolition of the Capilano Mall, MaKami College will be moving the campus to another location. Second year students are already being relocated to the new Sports Massage Facility Centre off 50 Street & 106 Ave. The Edmonton campus houses first and second year massage therapy students as well as workshops for students and working RMTs.
Calgary Campus
Opened in 2013, the Calgary campus is located at 9618 Horton Rd SW, Calgary, AB. Enrollment in the Calgary massage therapy courses has been growing and the college has called their expansion a "success".
Community involvement
Since 2001, MaKami College has been very involved in the community by sponsoring charity events and helping recent immigrants get skills and confidence to enhance job opportunities. MaKami College's managing director, Marija Pavkovic, is also the founder of the Queen Esther Education Foundation which helps recent immigrants with their ESL skills and assists with helping them find and secure employment opportunities. "MaKami and Queen Esther were both my dreams, and to see them succeed and have people notice is such a great experience."
